Right Clothing Color – Dress With Colors That Impress

Colors play an important role in the clothing industry, and for you to make a firm impression on the way you dress you need to understand what colors are suitable for you and which ones to wear. The color you choose will determine whether you make a favorable or an unfavorable impression on the people you come across.
Everyone has their favorite color(s) - you may have noticed. If you haven’t noticed yet or even if you’re not sure, you can ask your friends or your family members who notice the way you are dressed nearly each and every time you put on some clothing!
Having your favorite color for your clothing might even make you like the piece even more. However, having our favorite color as a basis for choosing the right color for our clothing cannot prove to be successful all the time. The most important thing is to wear the color that complements you.
Dressing in the color that is suitable for the occasion makes you look impressive! It is also important for you to understand the meaning of each of the diverse colors. People who are mostly dressed in hues or shades of blue are seen as cool. Blue generally sends the signal of tranquility and peacefulness. The same goes with softer shades of the green and brown colors. A red color on the other hand signifies confidence, power, self-esteem and authority. So give considerable attention to how you choose your color, subject to the kind of the picture or image you wish to portray.
Your skin tone plays a big role in helping you to choose the right color – in this case the color that flatters your skin tone. There are different types of skin tone- light, fair, medium, olive, brown and black. Clothing colors like dark brown and burgundy, to name just a few, are really impressive against brown or olive skin tones. If you have a dark skin tone it is not advisable to dress in solid or dark colors. Light and fair toned skin looks best against bright colors like white, yellow and pink. Colors like black, gray and navy blue look great on medium skin tones.
Hair color also helps determine the right clothing color for you. Example, light blonde and auburn haired individuals look best alongside the following colors; red, ivory, aqua and peach.
Choosing the right clothing color helps reflect your individuality, persona and mood. Keep in mind however, that the above are just typical guidelines. You might be astounded at how a certain color that is not meant to look suitable on you makes you look amazing! Have fun choosing the right color.
